SECOND EDITION OF TEMA ART & FASHION FESTIVAL SET FOR DECEMBER 4 - 6

Tema Art & Fashion Festival
The Tema Art & Fashion Festival will be held for the second time from Friday December 4 through to Sunday December 6, this year.
The venue is Tema Community 4 Basketball Court and Streets.

This year’s festival is dubbed Tsooboe under the theme; ‘Harnessing Skills and Talents for Economic Empowerment”
Tsooboe is a call for action. A call to harness skills and talents. It is a call to revisit the past, live the present and project into the future.

The three-day festival has been segmented into three eras; the past which represent our history, the present which holds our gift and the future which represents our hopes and aspirations.
COMMUNITY IMPACT PROJECT
As part of TAFF2015, we are raising support to put up a library and computer laboratory for the Community 2, No.4 Basic School as well as to create Autism Awareness as we are involving children from the HopeSetters Autism Center to take part in the festival.

ART, SHOPPING, MUSIC AND RUNWAY SHOWS
Artists have be drawn from various parts of the country to participate in this year’s festival. This year there will be five major street-art-processions. Some will depict the history of Tema and the industrial nature of the city as well as what the future looks like.

The festival is also a trade fair where there will be selling of various fashion accessories, art items, food among others.
There will be fashion runway shows every evening for the three days.

We encourage art and fashion enthusiast to save some money to grab their favourite items.
Vendors and Fashion Designers can also apply to reserve stands to do some sales and take part in the fashion show.
